Coogee Chemicals wharf line project

To meet growing demand for diesel and  unleaded petrol fuel distribution in Western Australia, Tetra Tech Proteus provided detail design, construction support and performance analysis for a 2km pipeline between Coogee Chemicals’ Kwinana Bulk Jetty and its Storage Tank Terminal.

Routed through a multi-use services corridor, the pipeline boosted fuel handling capacity to meet ongoing needs and met regulations including AS 2885.1-2012.

Tetra Tech Proteus’ approach to the project included:

• Cathodic protection was used for direct buried sections
• Buried sections will bear axle loads of more than 100 tonnes
• DMP pipeline registration completed
• Pigging launch and retrieval vessels installed
